At home outside

Our winter season usually starts mid-November and lasts right through to mid-April, when the days become considerably warmer and longer. In December it is only light for a few hours. The rest of the time darkness reigns and the silence of the winter falls over the country. During these nighttime hours the heavens are adorned with dancing Northern Lights with their bright haze - an experience not to be missed.

From mid-January the sun slowly starts to rise higher and the days become longer once more. By the end of April our hours of daylight have far exceeded the European average and truly dark nights are almost only possible with the eyes closed. In May the snow slowly starts to disappear - the last reminder of a wonderful winter.

We offer a multitude of activities to suit every taste, starting directly before your front door. Beginners and the accomplished alike are catered for in equal measure, and all can tank up with positive energy for everyday life.

Our guided programmes are intentionally aimed at small groups. The selection ranges from short excursions through to multi-day adventures including overnight stays.

You can naturally also experience many activities under your own steam. We are happy to hire out the requisite equipment if necessary.
